Drum Majors of the UC Bearcat Band
Ploetz, McGinn, Kannel - 2000-2001
In her second year on the box, Emily Ploetz took on two new counterparts.

  • Kevin McGinn graduated from Mt. Healthy HS in Cincinnati in 1998.  He was drum major for 2 years in his high school band and graduated in 2002 with a degree in Graphic Design.
  • Chris Kannel graduated from Montpelier HS in NW Ohio in 1998. He was a drum major his senior year of HS and graduated from UC in 2002 with a Bachelor of Science in Architecture.

    McGinn was a part of the Saxophone Section; Kannel was a part of the TrumpetLine.
