Drum Majors of the UC Bearcat Band

John Stueve is a new Drum Major starting in the 2009 Football season. Prior to being a Drum Major, John was a squad leader for the Saxophone section and the Alumni Coordinator for the Upsilon Chapter of Kappa Kappa Psi for three years. In addition to being Drum Major this year, John is also Vice President of Membership for Upsilon this year. This June, John plans on graduating with a Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering. Afterwards, he intends to seek a Master's Degree in Chemical Engineering, hopefully at UC. John is also a member of the UC Student Chapter of the American Institute of Chemical Engineers (AIChE). |

Corey Knapke is a third year student in the UC Bearcat Bands and is majoring in mechanical engineering. His primary instrument is euphonium/baritone, but he also plays the alto saxophone. He has served the band as its Recording Secretary and Baritone Section Leader in the 2008-2009 school year. For the 2009-2010 academic year, Corey will serve as both Drum Major and President of the band. Corey is also a member of the Upsilon chapter of Kappa Kappa Psi, nation honorary band fraternity. Corey harkens from St. Henry, a small rural community in Midwest Ohio, where he graduated from St. Henry High School in 2007. He came to the University of Cincinnati primarily because of its strong engineering and coop programs. Studying as a mechanical engineer, Corey hopes to both attain his MBA and travel abroad to Germany on a coop assignment before he graduates in 2012. |

Drew Reynolds is a second year member of the UC Bearcat Bands and is majoring in Instrumental and General Music Education at the College-Conservatory of Music. During the Fall marching season of 2008, Andrew marched with the baritone section, but was more active during the concert season on his primary instrument: Oboe. |
